About the foundation

私たちについて

She was never just a dog.

Neiro is a Shiba Inu. She sleeps in the sun, she steals socks, and she has no idea that her face travelled further than most people ever will.

When the internet found her, it did what the internet does — it made her a symbol. Millions of people who will never meet her know her name. That attention is a strange and fragile thing. It can evaporate, or it can be turned into something that outlives the moment.

The Neiro Foundation exists to turn it into something that lasts. Every yen and every satoshi that arrives here does two jobs: it keeps Neiro healthy and happy for the whole of her life, and it buys food, surgery, and shelter for dogs whose faces nobody made famous.

A foundation that tries to do everything does nothing well. Funds received are applied to exactly three programmes, in the proportions published in the reporting section below.

Neiro's lifetime care

Veterinary care, nutrition, insurance, and a dignified old age — funded and guaranteed for the whole of her life, never dependent on a token price.

保護と譲渡

Rescue & rehoming

Direct grants to vetted shelters and rescue groups. Intake, vaccination, spay and neuter, and the slow work of finding a dog the right home.

急第三事業

緊急医療基金

Emergency medical fund

A standing reserve that pays for the surgery a shelter cannot afford this week. Applications reviewed fast, because that is the whole point.

Where does my donation actually go?

Funds are split according to the published allocation on this page: rescue and shelter grants, the emergency medical fund, Neiro's lifetime care, and a capped operations budget. Every disbursement is recorded in the public ledger.

ネイロは元気ですか？

Is Neiro okay?

She is healthy, spoiled, and asleep somewhere warm. The foundation exists so that stays true for the rest of her life regardless of what any market does.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Tax treatment depends on the foundation's registration status in your jurisdiction and on how you give. We do not currently claim deductibility — please treat contributions as non-deductible gifts unless a receipt states otherwise, and consult your own tax adviser.

Can I donate in crypto?

Yes. Choose Cryptocurrency on the donation form and the receiving address for your network will be shown. Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain are supported. Send only the asset named for that network — transfers made on the wrong network cannot be recovered.

この財団は$NEIROの公式ですか？

Is the Foundation the same thing as the $NEIRO token?

No. The foundation is a charitable effort run by Neiro's owner. It is not an investment, it does not issue or manage a token, and donating does not entitle you to any token, return, or governance right.
